Fall Thoughts
Fall is my favorite season! Don’t get me wrong, I love all the seasons, but fall symbolizes an end and a beginning for me. Fall is the end of hot summer days, transitioning into cooler days, and it’s also the beginning of a new chapter. Fall is a time to reflect on the year and yourself. It is also a time to reflect on how you treat others. What can you do better for you and for others? I can’t help but mention the upcoming election—mainly just how people treat one another. All I am going to say about it is this: we must love our neighbors. In the Bible, Galations 5:13-14 states, “For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”” So fall is not just about pumpkin spice and apple cider (although I LOVE them both!), it is about peace, love, and reflection.
Additionally, fall is about change. It is about self-care. Your hair care and skincare transitions, as well as your diet. Take this time to take a step back and make some adjustments. Try something new! Take a yoga class, whether it be at home or at a studio. Try new food or drinks. Enjoy this season…more to come!
