Fall Skin Ritual
Do you have a fall skin ritual? It is proven that when the seasons change, so does your skin. My purpose is try to use natural products when I can.
My current skincare routine:
Morning:
Green tea spray and red light therapy (future post)
Toner: Rose spray
Moisturizer: Oil Serum
Night:
Cleanser: Coconut Oil or face wipes (if I am tired)
Toner: Rose spray
Moisturizer: Oil Serum
Weekly Mask: Clay mask and/or pumpkin mask
Evan Healy has a great line for fall. I have always enjoyed their products and always go back to them—
Another line I really love is Acure
If you would like to dabble in DIY skin care, you can not go wrong with oils. I like to mix argan oil, rosehip seed oil, maracuja oil, and for a little bronze tint, a couple drops of sea buckthorn oil. The beauty of DIY is that you can buy bulk amounts of single ingredients and customize them to your skin care needs. I also like to make serums with the oils and fruits/vegetables. I really like using blueberries and pumpkin for their antioxidant benefits. Always refrigerate when using fresh ingredients and sanitize your bottles before and after use. When making your own skincare, you have a fresh batch every one to two weeks, and you are helping the environment by reusing glass bottles. Get these pretty bottles here.
