So here's the latest...

With the Pandemic Covid-19 crisis still going on, most people are trying to make the best of the situation. Whether it’s fitness/health at home, prayer and meditation, or Zoom calls with the fam. We live in weird times, my friends, but instead of growing fearful, take this as an opportunity for YOU to grow! Look deep within to find encouragement for yourself and others. Here are some of the positive things everyone is talking about:

  1. Stimulus Check/Unemployment Insurance.

Thankfully, the government is sending stimulus checks to some of us, plus unemployment benefits are available for those who have lost their jobs because of Covid-19. Of course, this doesn’t solve everything, but it is comforting to know that we have some help! Spend very wisely! For more information on receiving your stimulus check, go to irs.gov and click “Get My Payment.” For more information on how to set up unemployment insurance, go to your state government’s website.

2. Home workouts/home gyms

Quarantine life has made it hard for us gym goers, but there are many ways to still workout at home. If you are a not a gym goer or a work-outer…er, now may be the perfect time to begin your fitness path. Not only does YouTube offer several workout videos like my new favorite meditation and yoga instructor, but thankfully, many fitness/wellness companies are offering free workouts at home. Check out this article from Cosmo for several options!

More home workout tips…

  • Warm up is a must! I use this warm up.

  • If you need some motivation to work out at home, here is insight on why you should, instead, think “discipline over motivation.”

  • Stay hydrated! Eat well!

3. Some good news and good humor

What is the best medicine for any situation? Positivity and humor. John Krasinski has got you covered!

4. Dalgona Coffee

This is worth trying! I have two recipes. This one is the traditional recipe. And this one is the keto/low carb recipe. The perfect quarantine treat that will satisfy and give you lots of energy! I use Four Sigmatic mushroom coffee for mine.

In closing, I hope you all enjoyed this post! There will be more to come!

Sincerely,

Kristin Waters
